The ThinkGreen Program is a community based collection program where SPX collects used inkjet,  laser printer cartridges, and cell phones and turns them in for cash rebates. It's simple, just return your used inkjet or laser cartridges, and cell phones to SPX. We will package them up and send them to Greentec who in turn will provide funds for each rebated cartridge or cell phone returned.

Did you know that over 300 million print cartridges are consumed in North America and more than 500 million cell phones are retired each year? That’s millions of pounds of electronic waste that usually ends up in landfill. The ThinkGreen Program is good for the environment as they help divert used cartridges and cell phones from landfills. In addition ThinkGreen sponsors the planting of trees in partnership with Tree Canada Foundation or American Forests. St. Pius X Catholic School’s support of the ThinkGreen program will help our students understand the importance of recycling, the benefits of tree planting and help raise funds for school.

Simply bring in (or send in with your students) your used ink jet/toner cartridges and/or cell phones to the computer lab. Our "digital angel" Julie will round them up and send them in.
