After reading chapters 1 - 10...

As a discoverer, you must uncover some of the little-known facts about the challenges that the characters in this novel face.  Visit the websites below to reveal the truth.  Make a list of at least three remarkable facts that you find from any four links.

Compare and contrast your twelve facts with a partner's.  Look at the Venn diagram below to see a graphic organizer that you will draw on your paper.  If you and your partner found any facts that are alike, highlight them and list them in the "C" area of the diagram.  For the remaining facts in your paper,  list one partner's facts in the "A" area and the other partner's facts in the "B" area.  Take turns explaining why you included each as a remarkable fact.
