Your task is to design a six-panel brochure about your assigned element. You will collect the following information using the provided Web sites:

Element symbol:
Atomic number of the element:
Atomic mass number of the element:
Energy level drawing of the element: (Use Paint to draw the picture and save it to your student folder.)
Origin of the element's name: :
Name of person/persons who discovered the element:
Date of discovery:
Three common uses of the element:

After you have collected the above information, you will use Microsoft Publisher to design a six-panel brochure. You will arrange the information as follows:
Cover:
List the element name, symbol, atomic number, and atomic mass number
Your names will also appear on the cover
Panel 2:
This panel should be titled "Energy Level Diagram."
You will provide an energy level drawing of the element that is either labeled or color coded.
Panel 3:
This panel should be titled "Did You Know..."
The following pieces of information are to be written in complete sentences and should appear as a bulleted list:
Origin of element's name
Name of person/persons who discovered the element
Date of discovery
Panel 4:
This panel should be titled "Common Uses."
The common uses should be written in complete sentences and should appear as numbered items.
Panel 5:
This panel should be titled "Interesting Facts."
The collected facts should be written in complete sentences and should appear as numbered items.
Panel 6:
This panel should be titled "About the Authors."
Each author will write a paragraph about himself or herself. If a digital camera or scanner is available, you can also include a picture of yourselves on this page.
